An annual event celebrated in terms of celebrating a nation’s independence and victory is today what we call as National Day Celebration, we people just need more and more reasons to celebrate and spread love, similarly the joy of celebrating ones independence is par excellence too.  Let’s see the best of all the National Day Celebrations around the world which are worth exploring.

 

Pakistan – 23rd March, 1940

It was when Pakistan and India both with mutual understanding decided to separate their paths for the betterment of their future, in 1947; Pakistan became an independent country where Urdu became their national language. Officially, it got its independence in that year. The National day of Pakistan is also known as the Lahore Resolution when the first constitution was adopted to make Pakistan an Islamic Republic, the National Day celebrations can be seen with full enthusiasm in different cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.

The best of all the National Day Celebrations around the world can be seen at the US.  America’s Independence day is famously known as the 4th of July, the typical revolution and National Day celebrations goes around from the year 1776 when it got its independence from great Britain. Since then, the Independence Day is celebrated with great passion and alongside parties and picnics are arranged with families and friends. Moreover, people can be seen waving their country’s flags on roads and the cheering their country for such achievement, it’s worth a check trust me.

The National Day Celebration of France is also known as the Bastille Day, in honour to pay tribute to the storming of the Bastille in the year 1789. It was the day known as the start of the French revolution and the inauguration of the modern France. You may come across the famous flag flying military parades stretching along the roads of Paris majorly.

The National Day celebrations in China are not way behind on our list of the best of all the National Day Celebrations around the world. With a series of festivals, concerts and beautiful fireworks, the Chinese people show their joy and happiness of being independent, the national day also marks as the beginning of the Golden Weeks. Majorly, the national day celebrations can be seen in central China and Macau with a fantastic ceremony at the Tiananmen Square.

The Mexicans celebrate their national day in a loving memory of Grito de Dolores; the day is celebrated with widely organized ceremonies, concerts and parades welcoming people to show their love for the country. Usually, the celebrations start off at the night of 15th September. The major celebrations are observed at the Zocalo City Square, which witnesses more than a million people each year celebrating the day.

Philippines has their flag raising ceremony in the 12th of June, the Filipinos got their independence from Spanish people in 1898, this day is further celebrated with great enthusiasm of families being united as one enjoying yummy cuisines and dine ins. If you are unable to attend the celebrations at Philippines, you can join the Filipino diaspora community which is an organized community around the world, further, you can see the Philippine Independence Day Parade including a vibrant cultural show and street fair.

 

India – 26th January, 1950

Along with Pakistan, Indians got their independence in the same year 1947 on the 15th August, undoubtedly, it was the largest democracy celebration celebrated in form of a Republic day. With lots of parades and flag raising ceremonies, the Indians show their love and respect for their country for being able to be known as a separate nation and for getting their own identity. The biggest of all Republic day parade is observed at Rajpath in Delhi, followed by 21 gun salute and the flying over of Air Force fighter jets.

The National Day celebrations of UAE is observed on the 2nd December each year, this auspicious occasions is marked as a national holiday in all the cities of UAE, celebrations of which can be majorly seen in Dubai and Sharjah. With different car rallies, parades, dance shows and fireworks, the annual national Day celebration of UAE is observed with great enthusiasm.
